イ ンドの偉大な叙事詩「ラーマーヤナ」の中に、ラーマ王子が猿神ハヌマーンの助けを借り、悪魔ラーヴァナに捕らわれたシータ妃を救出するというお話がありま す。私の大好きな映画の中では「遠い昔、遥か彼方の銀河系で」、大きな毛むくじゃらの猿のような生物が、捕らわれの姫を救出に向かうヒーローを手助けしま す。たとえ名前やキャラクターの違いはあれ、おそらく全ての神話は同じテーマを私達に語りかけるのでしょう。

The great Indian epic “the Ramayana”, tells the story of lord Rama trying to rescue his wife Sita after she is kidnapped by the evil demon Ravana. Rama befriends and is helped my a great ape god named hanuman. There is a movie I love that takes place in a galaxy far away in a time long ago where a big hairy ape like creature helps the hero rescue a kidnapped woman. Maybe all myths are trying to tell the same story, they just change the names of the characters.
