this is an interview of Animator Nina Paley i shot and edited in New York sometime around 2005. At the time she was just starting production of a full length animated re-telling of Valmikis Ramayana. Since that time she has finished the film after overcoming great obstacles like music copyright suits and of course raising capitol. the finished product is a real gem and she has chosen to make it free for all to see through creative commons. you can view it in its entirety below.
